    I love this theme and am using it. But I have a problem. I would like the option to move the side bar down to line up with the rest of the content because it blocks my header. Alternatively, not as good but would be acceptable is to be able to move my header left or right instead of centered.

    How could I do this?

    Thanks!

    Hi, thank you for the awesome theme!

    But I’ve a problem regarding the built-in twitter widget in the mystique theme, I can’t get it to show on my website (xanderz.com). It just keep showing the loading icon/animation forever..

    It works fine when I use it in localhost, but I can’t get it to work when I put it online. Any help/response will be appreciated

    You’re mistique theme is excellent, and suits the needs of my site perfectly, all aside from 1 requirement- hope it’s not too much too ask, but could you also add the colour “white” to the default colour theme, under “theme options”. (if at all possible)

    sorry, what I should have said was,- is there any way that the “tagline text” on my site (decoding the science of rap) could be changed to white without it effecting the blue “default colour” of the mistique theme ?

      Ok.
      In the mean time, you can edit the color-grey.css you’re using:

      find
      #site-description{color:#aaa;}

      and replace it by

      #site-description{color:#fff;}

    Hey! Love the theme! Using it for my wordpress.com blog but I can’t seem to figure out how to get the sidebar to appear on the right side, when my posts are displayed in their entirety. The sidebar only appears when my posts are displayed as excerpts.

    I’d like to display the full post, with the sidebar on the right. When I set the option to display full posts, the sidebar appears at the bottom of the web page. I’d really appreciate it if you could help me out.

    Thanks,
    Tanya

      Hi Tanya,

      It’s because of this article :
      “Working Culture in Dubai – an employee’s perspective”
      something in it is too wide and breaks the design. (See on it’s own page, it brokes the sidebar, too.)
      So it brokes it also when displayed in full on the homepage.

      Check your text (source view) and comments of this post, this should solve your problem.

    I love your theme and use it for my blog. Everyone LOVES it as well!! THANKS and kudos!

    I was wondering if you every thought about designing a template/theme for google sites? I want to make a homepage, but I’d like it to match the blog. I think others would really appreciate your design as well, because frankly what google offers is SHIT!

    Thanks again!!

    I just upgraded to WP 3.3 and now my sidebar is all out of whack. It’s still on the right but it all the way down the page after the last bit of main content.

    Help! :)

    Hey there — I am using the Arclite theme which is really clean a sweet.. couple of thing I am having trouble with if you don’t mind helping: I uploaded a custom header but I cannot seem to find the setting in the stylesheet to get it up to the top.. I changed the margins in the header ID and other stuff and now I have the menu jumped to the left too. Also if I make a custom menu, how can I get it to load up top on that menu bar… Thanks for any input in advance. GT

      Hi Gabe;

      Look into arclite/style.css : Logo Top margin is set by
      #pagetitle{
      padding: 3em 0 0 1em;
      }

      change 3em to adjust it.

      Other offset are found in

      #header{
      height: 190px;
      [...]

      #header .block-content{
      height: 190px;
      [...]

      #nav-wrap1{
      top: 200px;
      [...]

      About the custom menu, it is not supported right now.
      It’s one of the main things I Have to do.
      Right now, you can choose beetween pages or categories top menu , and use a widget to insert any custom menu on the sidebar.

      Next version will provide full support for wp3 custom menus.

      Cheers,

      Syl

    Hi, I am currently using the Arclite theme for our local BMX racing club. I am wondering if you have any intentions to update the theme to take advantage of the newest features of wordpress?

    • #18 by dadmin on June 15, 2012 - 5:55 pm

      Yep,

      It’s on schedule. Hopefully it will be available soon.

    I’ve got Arclite going and have to say I really like it. Not too many settings to break things… ;-)

    Two things I’d like to see though and wonder if they might appear in the future:

    1) Ability to remove the sidebar on some pages. Ideally, not have any default widgets in there and allow user to insert them if a sidebar is desired. I’m happy to have the widgets show on blog pages, but I might not want them on a gallery page because I want all the screen available for the images.

    2) Ability to include a thumbnail image to show with the blog post listings. I can’t recall the term WP uses for this now, sorry, but I think you’ll know what I mean. I had these images set for a previous theme, but they don’t show up in Arclite now. And I don’t see the option in the ‘add new post’ page either.

    This theme is looking pretty good for my needs so far, except for the tweaks I’ve suggested above. Thanks for your efforts! :-)
