Hi,

Did you install the files manually via ftp ? Check where you put them.
style.css is in the zip file. check all files are in the correct /wp-content/themes/mystique-wordpress directory, not elsewhere (and not one level below either)

Hi there. Love the themes. But when I try and install Mystique, wordpress tells me the theme is broken because it does not contain the Style Sheet.

Hi Karen,

I’m not sure what you mean.
When in a category, http://greenfiretimes.com/category/april-2011/ , the post date is just below the title of each article.

Then, on a specific post, it is below the article, just before the comment section :
“This entry was posted by Green Fire Times on April 1, 2011 at 10:19 am”

As I understand, you’d like a more proeminent date in the article view ?

Hi! Nice theme!!

I am having a hard time trying to find where to make the date display in the post header bar. It is not in the settings options.

I do find a CSS Class of .post-date in the style sheet, but can’t find the php coding it refers to.

Can you help? Our posts are not dated (except for the category in the URL). Even displaying the Category would work as well in our site.

Hi;

No need to tweak the theme or go into wp code : it’s under
settings / reading , adjust the “Front page displays”

I like this theme a lot also… I am however having trouble with the index page showing the first post… which I would rather have show a page instead… I am still figuring out coding on WP so I am all over the place with child themes etc. trying to figure what to adjust code-wise. Everything was fine until I added two sub-pages last night to the homepage I screwed up my plugin attributes to a real estate showing in my listings – and I lost my homepage too… really aggravated at myself to fixing something that was not broken… can you please help.

Well, whatever the theme is, the search feature is only managed by WP.
Although, search within a WP blog does only search within post and pages: by default it does NOT search within gallery extra content managed via third party plugins.
It looks like you’re not using posts as main content.
Searching “pink” f.i. does find a related post.
Other keywords that do not give back results are obviously not within posts.
You can try asking to the coder of the plugin you use for your content.

I really like the theme were using it for a client.
I am having trouble with the search feature.

It seems to find only my home page , no other keyword is accepted – as though it not searching the database for the right keywords.

Could you let me know where to look for the essential hooks, in the appropriate files section etc.
