The steps:
1. Choose which posts you want to be featured on the ‘featured posts’ slide, by clicking on the little stars found on the ‘edit post’ page and making them turn from Grey to yellow. (as stated in an earlier comment)
2. Go into “Mystique settings” under “appearance” on the dashboard.
3. Click on “content” tab next to the “Design” tab
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page till you come to “featured posts”
5. Check show on “home page.
That is it. Reload your site, everything works perfectly. I just installed it today, and I love it.
Hey, i need your help.
When i click on the starts they never turn to yellow!
I don’t know what to do.
Maybe is because i’m on MAC? What browser do you use?
Is there an other way to do it?

I had 8 icons before for youtube and others but after updating Mystique they were removed and i just can’t do it again.

There’s an issue with the Twitter- und RSS buttons in the version 2.1.1. Even the demo version of mystique has this problem.
Does anybody know how to fix it?
By the way: this problem only happens in the Internet Explorer – not Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome
Yes, many pc with IE distort mystique…with FF,Safari and Chrome no.
Will the owner of mystique be fixing that issue? It didn’t happen in version 1.72.. thanks for your answer!
Maybe, and don’t go in admin with IE, it’s very dangerous for the theme.
Since upgrading, my featured posts are not displaying their thumbnails at all (see screenshot here)
In most featured panels, it still shows the WP caption code. Ideas?
I can’t seem to find discussion about this issue so far. Are there also more complete forums or support pages that are searchable?
All the answer to your problem are in the mystique option >>> “content”
set featured posts
set where to show
set days post older
set time to show
and in every page/post (in admin) check your miniature to show

First: your posts are older 30days? Changes the 30days default to more…
If don’t start , check “delete all mystique file when change theme” in options, delete theme and redownload a new 2.1.1.

A few weeks ago I had the some issue with the yellow stars.
I checked “delete files when change theme” in option, clean the FF cache, and reinstalled mystique. Everything worked.

I’ve got a big problem… in the featured post, when appear a post without miniatures, mystique print the miniatures of the first post of the page… is there a way to solve the problem?

Quando nel post non c’è la miniatura (non la metto in tutti) il tema visualizza nella barra featured la prima miniatura che trova nella pagina con un link al post in questione quindi mi trovo due link, uno al primo post con miniatura nella pagina, e il link sul titolo del post senza la miniatura

Can someone explain how to change the post time duration with the FEATURED CONTENT option ? In the last version of Mystique there’s no way to change it in the Mystique Options panel … I do not find anything in the CSS and PHP pages …

Quick newbie question
At the moment, when you visit my website it shows the posts in date order, showing a thumbnail and the post. However, I want to add a video to a few of the posts, but I don’t want them to come up on the homepage – I only want them to come up when the actual post itself is clicked – is this possible?
I tried the excerpt bit but that didn’t work, so any ideas most welcome!!!!

Do a page break in your post (before the videos) and only the stuff before the break will appear on homepage.
