Arclite
Another clean/light style theme. Some of its features include the ability to switch between the normal image-based design to a entirely CSS based one (without images), a few background/color variations, fluid layout, optional 3rd column and many more…

I get the following error when I try to add a tag: “Warning: _() expects exactly 1 parameter, 2 given in /home/content/i/n/m/inmatepartners/html/drewsdesk/wp-content/themes/arclite/index.php on line 43″
I assume this has to do with tags, since if I remove the tag, the error goes away. Any help would be appreciated and thanks for the great theme (Arclite).

Getting the same error as above.
Warning: _() expects exactly 1 parameter, 2 given in /customers/.com/.com/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/arclite/index.php on line 43

Beautiful colours, and design – interesting note !
Same with me..I love this them because it has beautiful colours.
I just came here to say a thanks for this beautiful theme .
I kept the link to your site at footer intact.
Beautiful work. Now its time for me to go under the hood and take it apart and steal the gold Muhahaha
What a beautiful theme. Very nice.
I’m having some trouble getting the background colors to display when using it on my site. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
Uh, never mind my previous comment. I misunderstood your Disable all design-related images in the Theme Options. Everything seems to be working fine now. Thanks.
I spoke too soon, as usual, and am still having a couple of minor problems that I can’t figure out.
1. Unable to get the header background to change.
2. Main navigation is square with no rounded corners or shading.
3. Default category block in sidebar not showing side-menu-rss.png image.
4. Widget headings in sidebar do not show top left folded corner.
5. Comment.png image not showing up for comments.
I Need help. Thanks.
1. It won’t change if you checked “Disable all design-related images” because it’s design-related
2. 3. 4. 5. Uncheck the option above.
Your site doesn’t show images because of:
- server misconfiguration
- upload errors
Check your theme images folder. All images there have 0 bytes…
Thanks for the quick response.
Okay, I unchecked “Disable all design-related images” and things went from good to worse, as far as the images go. I’m guessing that’s due to the server misconfiguration and upload errors that you mentioned.
I’m not sure what to do about the server misconfig or the upload errors. When I check the theme images folder via FTP it shows all of the images in there along with their file size, so I’m still not understanding something.
What application did you use to upload the files?
Try chaning the file access permissions to 666 (chmod), or user permissions (chown)
Great design and colours, same as post #5 ive left the link at the footer intact. thanks :O)
I love this theme. I hope it will be available for blogspot.
Files uploaded with FileZilla.
Just changed image folder file permissions to 666. No improvement.
Gary, are you using any cache plugin like WP-Cache ?
Try removing the whole folder and uploading it again. Its best if you can upload a zip file and then unzip via ssh or cPanel whatever you can get your hands on.
@Milenko – I am very interested in working with the theme and extending it a little. One thing I would like to do is create a footer section with 2-3 columns.
The code is a little complicated so far for me, so I am studying them more now.
Why didn’t you place the javascripts in the footer ? Should load slightly* faster.
